Contrastive Linguistics delves into the systematic comparison of two or more languages to identify similarities and differences, providing valuable insights into language acquisition, translation, and language teaching. On the other hand, Intercultural Linguistics focuses on the intersection of language and culture, examining how communication varies across diverse cultural contexts and the impact of cultural nuances on language use. The article navigates through the theoretical frameworks, methodologies, and practical implications of these linguistic approaches, emphasizing their significance in fostering effective cross-cultural communication and understanding.
