Аннотация

Abstract: military terminology is highly specific and can be easily misunderstood, especially when interpreting and translating across different languages and cultures. This article explores the role of cultural awareness and intercultural competence in interpreting and translating military terminology, drawing from existing scientific resources by Western and Russian scientists. Cultural awareness and intercultural competence are crucial for effective communication in multinational military operations and accurate translation of military texts. This article highlights the importance of training military personnel and translators in cultural awareness and intercultural competence to ensure effective communication and accurate translations in the military context.
